Responsible for producing components of a job by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.

• Prepares jobs and orders to be fulfilled by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using supplied templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies as directed.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

Experienced with MIG and TIG welding. Part set up and finish welding experience desired.

• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences.
• Lay out and examine metal stock or work pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met.
• Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.
• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or sub-units, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches and hand tools.
• Locate and mark work piece bending and cutting lines, allowing for stock thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and other component specifications.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as; brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical arc welding and cutting; plasma arc welding, stick welding, gas torch cutting and welding.
• Ability to operate mobile industrial lift equipment- fork trucks, stand up lift.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment.
• 2-3 years relevant experience.

Heavy Truck Body Installer

Experienced with mounting and installing truck bodies such as dumps, tanks and roll -off units. Must be able to MIG and TIG weld and wire heavy truck electrical systems.

• Full time positions available for mechanics working on heavy machinery and large body trucks.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences.
• Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.
• Demonstrated record of reliable job attendance.
• Position, align, fit, and attach parts to form complete units or sub-units, following blueprints and layout specifications for instillation of hydraulic components; valves, tanks, dump bodies, lighting, snow plow hitches and plows and other truck chassis accessories.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electric arc welding and cutting, plasma arc welding, stick welding, gas and torch cutting and welding.
• Ability to operate mobile industrial lift equipment- fork trucks, stand up lift.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment.
• 2-3 years relevant experience.
